Gipasaka nila ang syndicated and large-scale illegal recruitment nga nalatid sa Republic Act (RA) 8042 ug Republic Act (RA) 9208 kun Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
(JECT)

Greetings!!!! I was very
Greetings!!!!
I was very glad that you published the large-scale illegal recruitment complaint filed by 23 OFW Cebuanos in which primeglobalinc agency, headed by Ms. Leah Rama, is also involved. Actually, I am being persuaded also by Ms. Rama to work in one of prestigious hospitals in the Island of Bahamas. Well, her recruitment started with a series of email exchanges. After sometime, she scheduled me for an interview and there was really an interview that took place. A female with an American accent had interviewed me thru my mobile phone. And after a few days, she sent an email informing that I was hired and that lucrative salaries and benefits await me. But during these times I was having some doubts because the job she was offering was not listed in POEA and her agency as well, although she claims that her agency is based in New York. Well, my suspicion even grew further when she insited that I need to fill up the form for Application for Work Permit in the Bahamas and send it to her together with my documents and include a US$500 processing fee ASAP. She seemed in a hurry and always calling me up. She did not even mention anything about the open knowledge that in order for a health professional to work in the Bahamas, IELTS test is required. Well, although I did not yet mention to her that I was not interested anymore, her frequent calls and aggressive follow-ups had prompted me to do further checks about her and her agency. This is when I came across the story of the plight of 23 OFWs detained in the Trinidad and Tobago published in your paper wherein Ms. Leah Rama undeniably had a hand in the recruitment process. The article confirmed all my doubts. I hope that justice will be swiftly served to the OFWs. I hope that all the people involved in the recruitment and processing of their papers(including Ms.Leah Rama and primeglobalinc agency) will be punished to the full extent of the law.
Thank you so much and more power.
