THREE men took their own lives due to problems of the heart in separate incidents in Davao City.

The first victim was identified as Marco Gabone, 16, an out-of-school youth, and a resident of Saint Jude, Vector Homes Subdivision, barangay Communal, Buhangin district.

Gabone was found hanging from a ceiling in their house and was already in a state of decomposition at around 5 p.m. Tuesday. He was reportedly missing for four days. His body was discovered after a foul smell started to emit from the house. It wasn't clear which part of the house Gabone was in such that no one saw him for several days.

At around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Roel (name withheld upon the request of his relatives) was found hanging inside his residence in purok 2, barangay 76-A Bucana. He was declared dead at the Davao Medical Center (DMC).

His relatives told hospital officials he was having problems with his live-in partner.

At 8 a.m. Wednesday, Henry, 48, resident of Gaisano Compound, Diversion Road, Barangay Cabantian, Buhangin district, was found hanging from a tree, 100 meters away from his residence.

Henry's body was discovered by his sister. The bodies of the victims were brought to different funeral parlors in Davao City. (AD)
