THE All Stars Dream Team Showdown kicks off on December 5 at the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) Gym.

St. Peter's College of Toril (SPCT) Batch 87 marketing head Elric Ayop bared this in Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn.

Ayop said personalities from the entertainment world like of Philip Salvador, Ian Veneracion, Cesar Montano, brothers Gene and Dennis Padilla, Onyok Velasco, Jordan Herrera, Jong Hilario, Patrick dela Rosa, Joko Diaz and Jestoni Alarcon will compose the All-Stars Team.

"They will play against the SPCT All-Stars. PBA player John Ferriols, an alumnus of the school, might be around to beef up the SPCT All-Stars," Ayop said.

Aop said the preliminary game pitting the Davao City Mayor's Office team led by Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte's executive assistant Christopher "Bong" Go against the Araw ng Digos Basketball Tournament champion Fabian's Catering is at 5:30 p.m.

The All-Stars showdown follows after the CMO-Fabian's encounter.

He said bringing the All-Stars team, which had an exhibition match against CMO during the Kadayawan sa Dabaw festival, for the second time this year is a welcome development for Davao fans.

"We want to give more Dabawenyos the chance to watch their favorite actors on a bigger court and at the same time help less fortunate children of the Kardams (Kabatan-onan ng Aktibo ug Responsableng Dabawenyo Andaw Moalagad sa Sosyodad)," Ayop said.

General admission tickets are pegged at P100 while VIP tickets are sold at P300.
