THE Ateneo de Davao University (Addu)-bannered Unit 6 dominated the swimming, elementary basketball, elementary girls volleyball and elementary soccer events of the just-concluded Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet 2009.
Department of Education (DepEd) Physical Education and School Sports (Pess) supervisor 1 Jimmy Cerrojales bared this to Sun.Star Davao on Wednesday.

Cerrojales said AdDu sank its rivals in all swimming categories-the elementary boys and girls and secondary boys and girls over at the DMMA College of Southern Philippines (DCSP).
The Ateneo spikers also beat Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Sr. Elementary School-Unit 1 for the elementary girls volleyball title.
The AdDu secondary girls volleyball team, on its part, demolished Davao City National High School (DCNHS)-Unit 1 in their finals clash.
"The Addu elementary basketball team defeated Unit 9-Prisaad (Private School Administrators Association of Davao) for the title while its elementary football team beat Unit 3 for the crown," Cerrojales said.
Emar-Unit 5, meanwhile, topped the secondary basketball by beating Holy Child School of Davao (HCSD), 89-63. Emar also ruled the secondary boys soccer over Addu.
In girls softball, Toril-Unit 3 emerged champion in elementary and secondary girls divisions. It also placed first in secondary baseball after whipping Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS)-Unit 8, 6-2, in the finals.
Calinan-Unit 4 topped the elementary baseball event over Units 3 and 2 that placed second and third, respectively. (MLSA)
