BEING a family destination of choice, SM Supermalls have been committed to providing comfort to its customers. Thus, in 2008, SM City Davao launched its Breast feeding Station to give breast feeding mothers a comfortable place to attend to their tasks.
Affirming its commitment to its customers, SM City Davao in celebration of the Breast Feeding Month held a Breast Feeding Seminar last August 18 at the Event Centre. The forum was dubbed "Supporting Breast Feeding."

During the celebration, City Health Office Project Coordinator Chona Dazon discussed the benefits of breast feeding while full-time mom Lyn Tan (Mommy Sense co-founder and breast feeding advocate) shared her experiences of breast feeding and going back to work. Corework Pilates manager Joel Micabalo introduced pilates for moms and pregnant women.
The forum was attended by student nurses from Ateneo de Davao University, Davao Doctors College, Davao Medical School Foundation and Fabie School of Midwifery; Health workers from Puan, Jacinto, Marfori, Matina, Aplaya, Mini Forest; expectant and breast feeding mothers.
The event was a project of SM Cares Committee on Women's Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Health and Unicef.
