BROKENSHIRE College of Davao captured the senior division title even as the Holy Child School of Davao College pocketed two separate division titles at the close of the first Orange Generation Cup basketball tournament Sunday.
The event was held at the Gaisano Citimall Skygym.
The Brokenshire defeated the undermanned Holy Child, 101-86, to earn their first-ever title in the collegiate level this year. But it was only in the final half that Brokenshire got advantage of their deeper bench against the Reds, who only played with nine players against 13 from Brokenshire.

The Reds even enjoyed a 46-43 halftime lead but lost their steam in the third canto as Brokenshire exploded a 29-14 bomb to grab the lead, 73-60, and never looked back.
The troika off Arnold Sison, Daryl John Cantigo and Neil Patrick Donayre combined for 19 points in the third quarter and added 21 in the final canto for Brokenshire.
Sison finished with a game-high 28 points followed by Cantigo with 25, while Donayre had 12 and Richie Andales added 14 points.
Rolando Alipio topscored for the Red with 20 points followed by Gean Carlo Paredes with 19, Alfred Samantilla 14, Rex Sinilong 13 and Jason Val Gingging 11.
Holy Child earlier pocketed the Junior and Cadet division titles both in lopsided wins.
The Reds first won the Cadet division by routing the Stella Maris Academy, 140-86. They then took the crown in the Juniors by demolishing the hard-fighting Daniel Aguinaldo National High School, 105-80.
The Reds started slowly with just a two-point lead, 22-20 in the first quarter before they finally outran and broke Aguinaldo's defense to take the second half at 46-37.
The Reds continued their running game in the third quarter, 74-61 and added a 31-19 bomb in the final quarter.
Pointguard Hermogenes Maning topscored for the Reds with 25 points followed by the burly Rocky Vrian Mejos with 18 points. RP Youth member Emmanuel Bonleon Jr. and Ian Flaviano both chipped in 12 points.
Earlier, the Mahipus Law Office of playing team owner Davao City Councilor Dado Mahipus clobbered the Anflocor, 112-101, to bag the Inter-Company title.
Multi-sectoral Organization of Volunteers for Entrepreneurship national sports chairman Darren Evangelista awarded the trophies together with tournament director Rael Diaz of the organizing Evangelista Aquatics and Sports Management Inc.
