Trade office to conduct free seminars on food safety

THE Department of Trade and Industry-Davao City Field Office (DTI-DCFO), together with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), will conduct free seminars on food safety to all market vendors in Davao City, to include members of vendors' associations, as well as ambulant vendors.
The seminars that will be conducted in four different venues to cover the four major public markets in the city, are as follows: Seminar 1 at Toril Public Market on July 7, 2011, 1-3 p.m.; Seminar 2 at Matina Public Market on July 8, 1-3 p.m.; Seminar 3 at Bankerohan Public Market on July 12, 1-3 p.m.; and, Agdao Public Market on July 13, 1-3 p.m.

The seminars are part of several activities lined-up for the celebration of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development Week 2011 on July 11 to 17, 2011 in Davao City.
These include trainings and seminars, trade fair and expo at Abreeza Ayala Mall and Sangguniang Panlungsod Lobby, SME Forum, awarding of the SME Rising Star Awards, among others.
The cooperators include the Davao City Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council together with the City Government of Davao, the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., DTI-DCFO and DOST.
