A luxury dormitel in perfect location

A NEW luxury dormitel situated in the heart of Davao City is drawing rave reviews because of its elegance and perfect location for guests and travelers alike.

Green Windows Dormitel, located at the 5th and 6th floors of the FTC Tower along Mt. Apo St., is attracting guests since it started operating in the metropolis in December.

The dormitel's variety of clients include the locals, guests from neighboring towns as well as those from Luzon and Visayas, and even foreigners, guests who have experienced the aura of Green Windows Dormitel.

That's understandable. The place has a touch of excellence, a gorgeous place also known for its cleanliness and modern facilities.

"Our clients are not only from Davao. There are also guests from other places and they enjoyed their stay here," said Mary Joy S. Escudero, marketing head of the FTC Group of Companies which operates Green Windows Dormitel.

The Green Windows' amenities and services include air-conditioned rooms, hot and cold shower, dining room, living room, cafeteria, LCD flat TV on Deluxe Rooms, free Wifi access, 24-hour security and CCTV system and 24-hour check-in service. The place is also equipped with fire alarm and sprinkler system, has a spacious open parking area and is accessible to public transportation.

The place is conveniently situated at the center of the city's commercial district. It is just a walking distance to schools like Davao Doctors College, Brokenshire College, University of Immaculate Conception, Rizal Memorial Colleges and University of Mindanao. This is aside from the fact that Green Windows is just within easy access to shopping destinations and restaurants.

Escudero said they also offer economical rates to guests. Their Executive Twin room that can accommodate up to four persons is only P2,488 a night and inclusive of a Filipino breakfast for two.

And if you're a backpacker or a budget traveler Green Windows Dormitel also has a dormitory room at only P188 a night per person. The dormitory room is good for 12 people.

Escudero said they have also installed telephone lines in the rooms recently, an added feature to the fast-growing Dormitel in this part of the land.

Escudero said Green Windows Dormitel used to occupy only the 5th floor when they started last December but had to expand up to the 6th floor and now has a total of 50 rooms because of the increasing demand for their services.

Not only this, the management is eyeing a lot somewhere in Ecoland to build another edifice solely for Green Windows and that project is already in the pipeline.

Escudero said the FTC Group of Companies which runs Green Windows Dormitel is a pride of Davao City since it is being owned and managed by a Dabawenyo.

"We are proud Dabawenyos," she said.

Davao, indeed, takes pride to have Green Windows Dormitel around to provide comfort and convenience not only to the Dabawenyos but also to visitors who come and cherish the city's beauty.
