IT WAS a festive day for top executives of the Anflocor Group of Companies and Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) last April 25, and none could be happier than Rircardo R. Floirendo.
Floirendo, Anflocor's senior vice president and chief operating officer, couldn't hide his elation as he was delivering his welcome remarks during a short program at Barangay Angliongto in Lanang that day.
That was understandable. Moments later, Floirendo and other top officials of Anflocor and Damosal Land Inc. were lowering the time capsule to highlight the groundbreaking ceremony for Damosa Fairlane which marked DLI's first venture into redidential property development.
"It is with much excitement that we will break ground for this private and exclusive residential sanctuary in this fast-growing development district in Davao City," Floirendo said.
"With this, I am very happy that the team of Damosa Land Inc. continues to steer the company towards new waters. In behalf of Anflocor Group of Companies, I thank the Damosa Land Inc. family for the tireless enthusiasm they they continue to uphold in bringing the company to the forefront of the real estate and property development industry," Floirendo added.
The Damosa Fairlane is a P200-million project that will rise on a seven-hectare property within proximate distance from the Damosa complex. The residential community is also within a booming district. The SM City Mall and Convention Center will soon rise in Lanang, and there is also the Robinsons Cybergate at the Abreeza Complex nearby.
"Damosa Fairlane is nestled in a prime location as it is in the midst of a fast-growing district where the latest commercial and mixed-use urban developments are taking place. It is located near the city's key places which will offer optimal convenience to today's fast-rising families," DLI vice president and general manager Edgardo O. Villaver said in a statement.
"Through this, residents can literally enjoy the best of both worlds," Villaver added.
Damosa Fairlane will feature generous amenity areas such as clubhouse and other leisure and play areas, spacious roads, and other open spaces that provide a relaxing airy ambience within the community's secured perimeter.
The housing project is designed with a house-and-lot package product and offers three house model options. This follows a mid-century modern residential theme that is fused with Filipino architecture, foreseen to differentiate Damosa Fairlane from other similar developments.
DLI said that with around 200 available units, each house model unit will have 2-3 bedrooms with expansion opportunities, a car garage, living, dining and kitchen spaces as well as a maid's room and a patio or open space. Lot dimensions will vary at 120 square meters to 250 square meters.
With all these comforts and conveniences, Damosa Fairlane assures the residents their money's worth as it offers the house and lot packages at very competitive price range.

Land development works for the new residential community is projected to be completed towards the third quarter of 2013.
