Avida condominium to rise in Davao

A 23-STOREY mixed-use high-rise condominium will soon nestle along CM. Recto St., Davao City, an official from Ayala Land Davao said Friday.
Marianne Llanes, Ayala Land Davao's sales operation associate manager associate manager, said the mixed-use condominium called Avida is composed of 431 rooms. The first four floors will be the parking space and the fifth floor will be allocated for commercial businesses.
"The completion and turn-over will be by 2016," Llanes said over the phone.
She said they will have the launching of Avida on July 14.
Along with the new condominium, there's also an ongoing construction works of Orodermcity, which is owned by a homegrown dermatologist Dr. Neil Oropesa.
Davao City Investment Promotion Center chief Jason Magnaye said this is another boost to the city's economy as the project will pour more investments in Davao.
Magnaye said the Ayala Land Davao infrastructure will revive C.M. Recto Street as Davao City's business district. (ALC)
