PHILAM Life, the largest, leading, and the most trusted life insurance company in the country, said they will be launching a series of Unit-Linked Products (ULPs) -- a combination of insurance and investment products.
As part of Philam life's 65th anniversary celebration, Philam continues to empower Filipinos to achieve financial security and prosperity with ULPs that provide optimal protection while growing their earning potential based on fund performance over long-term.
In a press conference Friday, Rex Mendoza, president and chief executive officer of Philam Life, said they have already launched the Bright Future Invest, which focuses on education of children and at the same time a real protection product.
Bright Future Invest is a product that gives policyholders the opportunity to build an education fund that allows them to send their children to their dream universities despite the increasing cost of education, with high growth by investing in Philam Life’s professionally-managed range funds while protecting their loved ones with life insurance coverage.
Mendoza said another ULP that is set to be launched is the Family Secure -- "a life insurance plan for breadwinners that provides protection for his family during his working years, which can be converted into a retirement fund as the policy holder grows older."
Mendoza said ULPs are the "best of both worlds" type of product.
"It gives you the insurance and access to the best investment instruments that are available," he said.
He said this is a type life insurance product that gives both life protection coverage and the opportunity to grow earnings by investing in funds most common Filipinos won't have access to.
