HOTEL Uno, the newest budget hotel in Davao City, will soon open its doors to travelers and guests.

The hotel may feature simplistic elegance of its interior designs, but its conduciveness resembles that of a home.

Hotel supervisor Maribeth Hayana said Hotel Uno has a total of 152 rooms, with each room classification has specific purpose to meet what the guests need based on their budget.

"In terms of customers service, we make it a point to do our best for them," Hayana said, adding the opening is scheduled anytime this month.

True to its name, Hotel Uno guests are always top priority as they will be offered the best services from the day they check in until they check out.

For those who are short in budget Hayana recommended the non-air-conditioned rooms for only P250 a day, although she assured this will not compromise the stay of the guests even with less amenities.

She said each non-air-conditioned room comes with bed sheets, towels and a personal sink.

Hotel Uno also has Single Superior priced at P650, a fully-furnished room with LED flat screen television, personal closet, air-conditioning unit, private toilet and bathroom with hot and cold shower.

Travelers who can afford rooms with more and better amenities can also choose from Single Deluxe at P750, Double Superior at P850, Double Deluxe at P900, Twin Deluxe at P925, Junior Luxury at P1,100, and Luxury Suite at P1,300.

Its Single Deluxe room features all the amenities that the Single Superior has, only that it comes a more spacious room.

The Double Superior, meanwhile, has a bigger space conducive enough for couples and families. The Double Deluxe rooms have king-sized beds.

The Twin Deluxe rooms come with two beds. Hayana said their Junior Luxury and Luxury Suite are rooms that have an overlooking view of the Davao Gulf.

"Another advantage is that it is located in the center of the city, which is very accessible," she said, adding that the hotel has a wide and elegant lobby.

Jason Magnaye, Davao City Investment and Promotion Center officer-in-charge, earlier said the opening of this hotel will contribute to the revival of C.M. Recto St.

The infrastructure is erected in exact location where an old building was standing, with a total area of 3,726-square meter lot. In fact, Hotel Uno was renovated from what was once an abandoned building.

The project cost of Hotel Uno reached around P80 million, Magnaye said.
