The focus is on building human capital [health, nutrition and education] of children of the poorest families, 0-14 years of age.
This program adopts the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) approach used in Latin American and African countries which has been proven successful as a poverty reduction measure.
At present, the program has a total of 168,624 registered households in Davao Region covering four provinces, six cities, 41 municipalities and 944 barangays. (PR)
