Metrobank Davao branches open during public holidays

METROPOLITAN Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) branches in Davao Region are open during the holidays in anticipation of higher demand for cash and an increase in customer traffic at its branches.

As the bank readies its branches for the Christmas holiday season, all of its branches nationwide are open to serve the banking public on all Saturdays of December -- on December 9, 23 and 30 (Sundays); and on December 24, 30 and 31, all declared public holidays.

On December 23, Mentrobank's Panabo will be open to customers from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

On Dec. 24, its Toril, Bankerohan and Ecoland branches in Davao City will also have its banking hours from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. On the same day' its Tagum branch will also be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

On December 29, Mterobank's Matina branch will serve its clients from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Damosa branch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Bajada, Buhangin, Center and Sta. Ana branches, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On December 30, Sta. Ana branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On December 31, Toril, Tagum and Panabo branches will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

System and hardware checks are also being conducted to ensure that all of its 1,200 Automated Teller Machines nationwide are loaded with sufficient cash to meet the requirements of its customers over the long weekend, according to the bank's media advisory.

Metrobank operation support teams will be on duty 24/7 to ensure continuity of ATM and electronic banking services.

As an alternative to waiting in line to withdraw cash from ATMs, Metrobank ATM accountholders can pay for their purchases in over 20,000 department stores, supermarkets and other establishments nationwide through the BancNet point-of-sale (POS) terminals.

Customers can also make use of Metrobank Direct via http://www.metrobank.com.ph to inquire about their balance, transfer funds or pay celphone, credit card, insurance and other utility bills.
