City hotels offer special rates for Micecon delegates

DAVAO City's top hotels, accredited as official residence of at least 500 delegates to the Philippine Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions/Events Conference (Micecon) 2013, slated in the city on March 6-9, are offering special packages to participants.

The four-day Micecon 2013, which will be held for the first time outside Metro Manila since its inception, will be hosted by Davao City bringing the city's potential as a conference hub to the next level.

The six participating hotels are Park Inn by Radisons, The Apo View, Marco Polo, Microtel, The Royal Mandaya, and the Waterfront Insular Hotel.

The following are the special rates of the participating hotels for Micecon 2013:

Park Inn by Radisons -- P4,000 for all standard rooms;

The Apo View -- P3,600 for all room types;

Marco Polo -- P4,500 (single) and P5,000 (double) on superior rooms, P4,700 (single) and P5,200 (double) on deluxe rooms, P6,000 (single) and P6,500 (double) on continental deluxe rooms, and P7,000 (single) as well as P7,500 (double) on all cabana terrace rooms;

Microtel -- P3,150 on all room types;

The Royal Mandaya -- P3,600 on all room types; and

Waterfront Insular Hotel -- P3,600 on all room types.

Ten foreign resource speakers and a Filipino educator have confirmed their attendance to the conference.

The topics for this year's Micecon are; Imagining the Future of Travel; The Future of Meetings in Asia Pacific; Keeping Associations Healthy, Wealthy and Wise; Tomorrow's Hottest Technologies Today; Rise of Asian Brands and Nation Branding; Brand Strategy on a Tight Budget; The Tourism and Business Value of Meetings; Let's Kill Murphy! Bullet-proofing Meetings from Disasters and Other Event Terrorists; The War for Talent-The Secret to Attracting, Motivating and Retaining the Best; The Mark of a Leader; Tips, Tricks and Techniques for an Extraordinary Event Experience.

The speakers are from different well-established companies and business organizations leading in their respective fields.
