MOBILE phone subscribers who intend to apply for a postpaid plan from leading wireless services provider Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) can now do so whenever, wherever.
The leading telco recently included postpaid product offerings in the enhanced Smart online store (store.smart.com.ph). As such, Smart's prospective postpaid clients no longer need to go to a physical Smart Store to accomplish and submit application forms and documentary requirements to avail of Smart mobile or Smart Bro postpaid plans.
"The level of interest of mobile phone subscribers to switch to the Smart network remains very high," said Emmanuel Lorenzana, Smart's executive vice president and wireless consumer division head. "We have made subscribing to our postpaid plans easier, secure and more convenient through the Smart Online Store."
Smart Online Store lets potential postpaid subscribers view postpaid plan details and select their preferred subscriptions and devices with just a few clicks. The online application form allows for a quick and easy data input, and requirements like copies of identification cards and financial documents can be securely uploaded into the system.
Payment can be made instantly using major credit cards. Upon review and approval, the subscribers’ chosen device and SIM card can be delivered anywhere in the Philippines, free of charge.
Transactions can be made at the subscriber’s most convenient time and place, as it is accessible online 24/7.
"This is our way of encouraging more subscribers to join the ranks of our satisfied clients," Lorenzana said. "With this secure, one-stop online shop, they can log-in, select the plan that best suits their lifestyle and choose from our wide range of smartphones in minutes."
The Smart Online Store is also designed to provide answers to the basic questions that subscribers have during the application process. It automatically displays the inclusions of each postpaid plan and even the stock availability of the devices. It even automatically computes total initial cash-out.
Smart said exclusive offers and items will be offered via the online store once in a while.
In 2009, Smart launched the first version of the online store, offering prepaid phone kits, and broadband bundles. It even enabled Filipino overseas to shop online for Smart product that they can send to their loved-ones in the Philippines.
