Blue Post introduces new dining concept-A A +A

DABAWENYOS will soon experience a new dining concept with the opening of Blue Post Boiling Crabs and Shrimps located on JP Laurel Avenue in Bajada, Davao City.
The new restaurant, operated by AA Group of Companies, is set to open on December 8, introducing a new dining experience for its customers.
AA Group of Companies CEO Anthony T. Ang, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said they are introducing boiling bag cooking to Dabawenyos.
In a briefer, the restaurant will be boiling fresh seafood in a food grade boiling bag, which is mixed with their original Cajun Special Sauce and some add-ons -- corn on the cob, sausage, and potato. It is then served on the boiling bag.
Ang said he and his wife Jennifer, who also serves as the company's chief finance officer, got this new dining concept from the famous Boiling Crab in the United States. They observed how diners waited for the "seafood contents of the boiling bag dumped into the table," and eating it with their hands.
"This is the reason why we brought it here. When it comes to kamay-kainan, Filipinos are really known for that. We saw its potential since it will really fit the Filipino culture," Ang said.
For his part, COO Emmanuel R. Matuco said the kamay-kainan concept fosters bonding among friends and families.
In just three steps, diners can create a perfect mix for their boiling bag food: (1) they can choose from crab, shrimp, mussels, or mix it all up, (2) cooking preference, Blue Post boil or garlic fried, and (3) choose the type of Cajun Special Sauce whether it is regular, mild, or hot and spicy. Their boiling bag dishes can serve two to three persons.
Other dishes diners can expect are kinilaw, grilled seafood, salad, pork garlic belly, burger, steaks, mudslide, halo-halo, and more. They also serve bottomless drinks for their consumers.
Ang said they are targeting markets A to C and also large group of friends.
They also have three VIP rooms for those who want to hold private parties. One room can accommodate 30 people while the other two can accommodate 15 to 20 guests.
Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps is set to open this December 8 and is open from 10 a.m. to midnight. They can be contacted at 221-8360 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
