DAMOSA Fairlane, a seven-hectare high-end real property development project of Damosa Land Inc. (DLI), is eyeing to turn over eight houses in the first quarter of 2014.
Alexander G. Gocotano, DLI project development head, said of the first 16 houses constructed last year, four will be turned over this month and another four in April.
He said first to be turned over are Lincoln and Cortina units.
The Lincoln unit, their top variant, is a three bedroom house with a floor area of 147 square meters (sqm) while the Cortina unit is a three bedroom house with a floor area of 100 sqm. Their biggest unit is the four bedroom Mercury with a floor area of 250 sqm.
He said for the first batch of the 16 units that are being constructed, 11 are Lincoln units, three are Cortina, and two are Mercury units.
"The first turnover was supposed to be in December, however there were some request of modifications from the homeowners," Gocotano said.
He said there were request of changes in the sizes of rooms or even removal of some portions or rooms.
"We are happy to do the changes as long as it doesn't affect the utilities. We tell the homeowners that if they request modifications there we be delays in the finishing of the house, which they have also acknowledged," Gocotano said.
He said without modifications or changes they are able to finish the houses on time as long as the weather also cooperates with their construction.
They are also expecting the construction of 80 more units by April and May this year. Gocotano said 30 houses will be constructed on April and the other 50 in May.
The subdivision will have a total of 237 houses once they are all completed. Damosa Fairlane is a P200-million worth project that had its groundbreaking last April 25, 2012.
