THE Department of Labor and Employment (Dole)-Davao listed a total of 13 establishments that received a Tripartite Certificate of Compliance with Labor Standards (TCCLS) in Davao Region this year.

In a press release, Dole-Davao Director Joffrey Suyao said the TCCLS was conferred to these establishments for showing commitment and exemplary adherence to the provisions on General Labor Standards, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, the Child Labor Law, industrial peace, enterprise stability and competitiveness.

These establishments are Apex Mining Co. Inc., Carmen Corrugated Containers, Craft International Services Inc., Davao Doctor's Hospital, Dole-Stanfilco Valley Zone, Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy, Interbev Philippines Inc., Magsige Multipurpose Cooperative, Mindanao Integrated Logistics Services Inc., Stanfilco-Plastic Plant, Stanfilco-Vapoer Heat Treatment Facility, Therma Marine Inc., and Unifrutti Philippines Inc.

Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, in a press conference on Monday at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, said those with the TCCLS, which is valid for two years, will only be monitored during the validity and will not be subject for annual evaluation and checking.

"But if there is a complaint against them, we will suspend the TCCLS," she said.

Suyao said the recognition is given to the establishment that underwent a tripartite audit process, on-site validation, and assessment by the members of the Regional Tripartite Industry Peace Council. (RJL)
