It was opened to the public on June 9, 2012.

Created by Catherine Ilacad in 2002, Posh Nails introduced a laid back, unique and modern setup to spa addicts young and old alike.

“I decided to bring posh nails to Davao because I want Davaoeños to experience the proper way and hygiene of nail and foot pampering marami kasi ako na experience na fly by night and puro salita and marketing lang and mukhang maganda pero sablay ang services,” Binag said.

“Hindi lang sanitized ang gamit namin, chemically cleaned din yung gingamit na gamot sa mga pang operating tools ng doctor na panlinis that’s what we use also,” she added.

Posh Nails is the first in the Philippines to offer themed manicures and pedicures such as Green Tea, Coffee, Chocolate lovers, Margarita, Cremee Brulee and Citrus.

Themed manicures and pedicures differ for each month to keep clients excited and up to date with nail salon services all across the globe.

Posh Nails also offers cocktail drinks, coffee, tea, hot cocoa along with the themed service.

Binag said they have a total of 12 well-trained nail technicians who all have undergone three-month training of proper and professional services which only Posh Nails could offer.

She said she is very keen is choosing her nail technicians. She said she is after those who want to learn and those who really have the passion.

“Yung mga nail technicians namin wala talagang experience dati. Tinuruan lang namin... and I trained them for 3 months, 10 hours a day. Before I open Posh Nails, I waited for them to tell me and confident enough na sabihin nila sakin na ready na sila,” Binag said.

Also, she assures that nail technicians disinfect their hands with our liquid sanitizer before attending to every client.

Aside from professional nail technicians, Posh Nails also have one expert masseur.

“We are very affordable compared to other salon because sa dami na ng branch namin we get our supply cheaper,” Binag said.

Aside from its excellent services, guests would feel like a goddess being pampered and transported to a facny girl’s bedroom painted in pink, lilac and white complete with comfortable couches, soft pillows and footrests.

The place is also adorned with beaded curtains to incorporate a more feminine touch while soft R&B and chillout music is being played in the background for a soothing ambiance.
