Aeon Towers ground works 85% complete

THE board pile and diaphragm wall works for the 33-storey Aeon Towers are reported to be 85 percent complete as of March 2014.

The concreting of diaphragm wall is already 90 percent complete wherein 44 panels of the 49 panels have already been casted while the concreting of the 163 board piles is already 100% complete.

The total steel requirement for the board pile and diaphragm wall has also been completely delivered on site.

Temporary drainage was also installed in March for the completion of the remaining diaphragm wall panels last April 2014.

Preparation for the construction of capping beams commenced last March 27 and it is targeted to be completed by end of May 2014.

The partial set of For Construction Drawing (FCD) for Structural, Architectural, MEPFS was already issued and full set of the FCD is expected to be released by May 2014.

Aeon Towers has also signed a contract with and awarded Davao City Solidmix Concrete Corporation as one of the official concrete supplier for the project.

The company is in closely coordinating with the local government unit of Davao City, Department of Public Works and Highways, Davao Light and Power Company, and other private companies. They are also continually having design coordination meeting with all their Manila consultants.

Operation on site is 24 hours and purchase of major construction equipment is in progress.

Aeon Towers, a 33-storey mixed commercial and residential building that will rise on a 4,574 square meter (sqm) land. Once completed, it will be the the tallest building in Davao City. It will house 473 residential units, four star hotel, a BPO, retail mall, four levels of basement parking with 300 slots, fiber optic ready units, Wi-Fi connections in common areas, four high speed passenger elevators, advanced fire protection alarm and sprinkler system, Green building technology, and 24 hours CCTV security cameras, among others.

The residential tower will also feature Smart Home Technology wherein units are equipped with a touch-screen master controller that allows the resident to dim lights, turn the air conditioner on or off, play music, adjust shower temperature, draw curtains, and control door access anytime wherever they are.
