IF you're looking for a shop that offers a wide array of quality, affordable and imported home furnishing products, with the latest and modern designs, then you now have a place to go.

Han Designs, owned by couple Daniel and Liz Kim, recently opened to cater to the needs of the thriving property development sector in the city. The shop is eyeing to serve hotels and condominiums, which are now sprouting in the city, offices and residences, particularly of those who are starting to build their homes.

The store offers a wide selection of multi-brand wallpapers, carpets and blinds of various designs, which you can choose from.

For the safety of your homes or offices, it also offers state-of-the-art digital door lock systems, some models are first to be offered in the market.

"We are looking at those who want to make their spaces look modern and comfortable -- be it an office, condo unit, a hotel room or a residence," said Liz, a Dabawenya entrepreneur who is married to Daniel, a South Korean businessman.

The couple said they decided to invest in home furnishing business to take advantage, at the same time contribute. to the growing property development sector of the city.

"In every corner of the city, you can see property developments and there's a growing demand for home furnishing products that are affordable, durable and with the latest designs," Liz said.

This was basically the reason that the couple decided to try their luck in importing home furnishing items from South Korea, known for its durability and designs in the world, particularly Europe.

"All items being offered at the store are all imported from South Korea, which is known in the world for its quality and modern designs. In fact, South Korea's home furnishing products are among those recognized in Europe which is very strict in terms of product standards," Liz said.

She said all these products are directly supplied by manufacturers in South Korea, some of whom are business associates of her husband.

"That's the reason why our prices are cheaper as compared to others in the market. We directly import the products from manufacturers in South Korea," she added.

The store boasts of a wide selection of water-resistant wallpapers with latest designs that fit the taste of prospective clients. All these are made of silk.

"We have designs that fit the master's bedroom, children's bedroom as well as for teeners. They can also choose from our various designs for living rooms and for other spaces in the house," Liz said.

For blinds, the store offers almost all the designs that are made available in the market -- be it leather, eco-wood or wood blinds.

Liz said they also offer Venetian shutter blinds, the honeycomb, pleated, sunscreen and black out, the roll screen, the folding door, the triple shade, solar reflection shade, among others.

For its digital door lock system. Han Designs offers a multi-function designed door lock, the Touchpad model, which is touted as the first of its kind in the world.

This latest model has a three-way solution system -- the use of smart card, digital touch key and a secret code -- to ensure the safety and security of your office and dwelling. It also features real-time displacement numeric touch pad to prevent disclosure of security code.
