Their target participants include developers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals, among others.

Participants will be challenged to pitch their ideas on the first day of the event, which they will be developing throughout the three day event.

She said ideas pitched will be anything that has to do with IT, be it applications, hardware, and wearables, etc. The participants themselves will be the ones to choose what the best ideas that they want to develop are.

Abella said the top ten ideas will then be pitched again to the remaining participants. She said the purpose of the second round of pitching is for the remaining participants to choose what idea they want to help develop.

She said on the second day, the participants, who have already been grouped, will undergo training and seminars on market validation, testing out their products, and other lecture relating to starting their own IT company and product development.

Abella said they will be inviting industry experts, both local and international, to give the lectures.

On the final day, Abella said the participants will be given the whole morning to prepare the presentation of their ideas to a panel of judges, consisting of industry experts. The presentation will be set in the evening wherein in the best three will be selected.

"Throughout the event we are able to see how talented Dabawenyos are," Abella said.
