All systems go for MSME expo-A A +A

IT is all systems go for the staging of the 2014 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Expo on July 28 to 31, 2014 at the Abreeza Ayala Mall.
The expo is part of the MSME Development (MSMED) Week celebration, which is spearheaded by the Davao City MSMED Council and co-organized by the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industries Inc. (DCCCII) and the Department Trade and Industry 11.
DCCCII president Antonio T. dela Cruz, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said all the 46 booths of the expo are already fully booked.
Some of the exhibitors during the 2014 MSME Expo are Crisander Enterprise, Abrillo Furniture, Lidenbrock, PC Worx, Ladykin Skin Care, Alabaster Miracle Oil, RK Franchise, Dok Alternatibo, BJ Tree Nursery, Barbra Pearls Cosmetics, Heavens Food, Samal Dairy Farm, Lysean Food, Pretty Little Stuff, Ateneo de Davao University, Neo Buttons, The Essentials, Avail Philippines, Bloomers, Herbosido, Leslie Corp., Food Processors Association of Davao, Davao Webmakers, Davao del Sur producers, Virginia Foods, Ink Print, and Al-Mashir Industries.
The participating MSMEs will be coming from Davao Region.
Government agencies will also be exhibiting, they are: Department of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology, DTI 11-Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), and DTI Davao Oriental.
DCCCII executive director Mary Antonette Doromal said they will also be setting up a Small Business Development Center Booth which is aimed to informs participating MSMEs, visiting businessmen, and the general public of the chamber's activities and trainings.
Dela Cruz said they are aiming to surpass last year's generated sales of around P3 million.
Prior to the MSME Expo, a Food Fair Expo was staged at the Sangguniang Panglungsod and was able to generate an extimated P300,000 in sales.
