Significant changes of prices as August starts-A A +A

THERE’S a slight drop recorded in the prices of garlic and ginger yesterday at the Bankerohan Public Market.
The price of garlic dropped to P90 to P100 this week compared to P95 to P110 as of last week while ginger is now priced at P75 to P90 a kilo from P80 to P100 a kilo last week.
However, an increase in the the prices of potato and ampalaya increased. The price of potato increased to P35 to P50 from P32 to P45 while the price of ampalaya went from P25 to P38 to P35 to P40 this week.
Prices of other vegetable products are: red onion P45 to P60, tomato P25 to P26, string beans P20 to P30, malunggay P5 to P10, radish P50 to P20, carrots P35 to P50, squash P8 to P10, monggo P68 to P75, pechay P20 to P30, cabbage P25 to P30, eggplant P15 to P30, okra P15 to P20, bell pepper P 40 to P60, and red chili P10 to P15.
Prices of fruit products remained stabl as of yesterday, prices of selected fruit varieties are: ponkan orange P15 each, carabao mango P40 to P60, marang P30 to P40, fuji apple P10 to P20, grapes P250, langka P80, papaya P8 to P10, calamansi P18, lansones P50 to P60, lakatan P30, latundan P15 to P20, and valencia orange P15 to P20.
The Prices of other selected fish products are: matambaka P150 to P160, tilapia P85 to P95, bangus P115, bulinao P60 to P90, lapulapu P260, mayamaya P275 to P280, shrimps P280 to P300, squid P130, crabs P350 to P400, tuna panga P210 to P220, tuna belly P270, and clams P30.
