Esscor opens first office in Mindanao

Friday, October 06, 2017

ELECTRONIC security solutions provider, Electronic Security System Corporation (Esscor), a company of Ademco Security Group, has opened its first office in Davao City, allowing them to better serve their clients.
"We wanted to be part of the growth of Davao City and that is why we are here," Charm Tolentino, Esscor sales and marketing director, said in an interview.

She said they noted that many companies from Manila are now setting up their respective offices in Davao City and by putting up an office here, is one way of how Esscor is showing their support.

"Also, we are not only here to sell but also bring new technology to the market," Tolentino said.

She said their clients in Mindanao and Davao City can expect a range of electronic solutions that are suited to their needs.

"Basically what we are bringing to Davao and Mindanao is the latest in security technology...like surveillance, access control, and perimeter technology," Tolentino said.

Tolentino said they already have clients in Davao City prior to setting up an office here. One of their clients is a big business process outsourcing company while the other is the Davao City Government, which, she said, is utilizing one of the security solutions provided by Esscor for 911.

Their Cebu office used to handle the concerns and needs of their Mindanao-based clients.

"The Davao market is the culmination of our thrust to be present in major areas in the Philippines like Manila, Cebu, and Davao," said Francisco Layug III, Esscor President.

He added that the market for electronic security is now growing since it has become a major factor in becoming competitive.

"Electronic security system is now a need to be competitive; it brings down costs and increase protection," Layug said.

Tolentino said moving forward they are looking into establishing another office in the northern part of Mindanao.
