LIAM Capati and Dre Tanchangco captured the pro men's and women's titles in the 1st Kadayawan Festival Cup Wakeboard and Wakeskate Competition at the Deca Wakeboard Park Friday in Tacunan, Mintal.
Liam came through with a total of 95 percent to beat JC Dy (90) and Wayne Pandain (70), who ended up finishing second and third, respectively.

Tanhangco of Manila finished accumulated 87 percent to best Nadine Hernandez (82) and Mitch Cordoviz (70), both from Davao City.
They were judged by Manila-based Team Stoked rated riders Carlo dela Torre and JV Tanhangco along with DecaWake dock operations manager Albert Lehman based on their obstacle tricks (30%), water tricks (30%) and overall composition of ride (40%).
Deca Wake rider Zech Stephenson, meanwhile, lived up to his billing by bagging the junior men's 14 to 19 years old division crown with an impressive 96 percent. Lorenzo Carabuena's placed second with 88 percent and Obi Cembrano third with 85.
Celina Cembrano earned 84 percent to shared the limelight by copping the junior women's 19-below title at the expense of Mikee Selga (80) and Angela Clores (68).
The men 13-below title went to JJ Hernandez (87) while Franco Carabuena (82) placed second and Ylai Mendoza (76) third.
Mimi Tan emerged the women's 20-up champion with 85 percent followed by Arisa Heitz (56) and Trisha Barba (51).
In the men's 1 (20-25), Danny Lee (87) stamped his class over Ludwig Horfilla (84) and Don Tumulac (79) for the top spot. Herwin Tan (80) topped Peter Abella (72) and Dondi Calma (68) for the men's 2 (26-30) title.
Jigger Avancena ruled the masters 31-above event with 84 percent while Jason Inslee came in close second with 81 and Janzen Chin was third with 79.
Obi Cembrano crowned himself open wakeskate champion having earned 95 percent over Joshua Stephenson (74) and Jason Inslee (63).
Cash prizes and plaques were awarded to the winners of the one-day event that was organized by Deca Wakeboard Park and backed up by 8990 Housing Development Corporation.
