KAPUSO actress Jennylyn Mercado is one of the few showbiz personalities whom I admire.

Not only because of her angelic face, her ability in acting but also the discipline she has for herself.

Though she's already a proud mom to Alex Jazz, she still finds time to maintain her bootylicious figure.

That's one thing every women should always remember.

During the recent visit of Jen in Davao City, it's pretty much obvious how inspired she is. She's full of happiness and positivity.

The actress was here with the other cast of the epic serye Indio of GMA-7 to celebrate with the Dabawenyos during the 76th Araw ng Dabaw celebration.

In a short chit-chat, Jen gladly shares her experiences with her leading-man Sen. Bong Revilla Jr.

"Second time na kaming nagka-trabaho ni Sen. Bong and wala ka talagang reklamo to him. Kasi sobrang maalaga, aalalayan ka talaga."

On the other hand, the actress is very much excited with the feedback she will be getting from the viewing public on her sexy-drama movie "The Bride and the Lover," under Regal Entertainment Inc.

In the movie, Jen is joined by Lovi Poe and Paulo Avelino.

"Finally, natapos na rin kami, mga isang taon din yung ginugol namin for this kasi we started April last year. This time tapos na, and we are all excited sa anu mang feedback from the public," she said.

Far different from her usual roles, in the movie Jen showcases more her sexiness with steamy scenes she did.

The movie is directed by Joel Lamangan and will be shown next month.

New album

The Starstruck alumna is also excited to be back on her first love -- singing.

Jen will record a new album under PolyEast Records.

"Nagstart ako sa GMA recording, then sa Viva, ngayon sa Polyeast naman. Excited ako to share again my music. Matagal din kasing di ako nakatutok sa music career ko."

It was learned that she will record six songs that will start June of this year.

With Luis

During the said interview, Jen again clarified speculations that she is now preparing for her dream wedding, with beau Luis Manzano.

She insisted that she is not yet engaged, adding that they are still enjoying their lives and give more focus on their respective career.

"Wala pang proposal. Ini-enjoy muna namin ang isat-isa and we are happy dun," the actress said.

She is also consistent in saying that she is not comfortable working with Luis.

"Ayoko ko kasi na magamit yung relasyon sa trabaho, as much as possible separate talaga siya. Okey lang yung nag-guest ako sa Deal or No Deal, pero yung movie or serye na kami magkasama, ayoko."

Aside from being busy with her showbiz commitments, Jen proudly shares she is a hands-on mom to Alex Jazz.
