Cine Europa to be screened at Cinematheques-A A +A

TO MARK its sixteenth year, Cine Europa hopes to get more Filipinos to watch European films as the festival increases the number of film festival locations, with its collaboration with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
Cine Europa publicly screens in FDCP Cinematheques in Davao City on October 15-20.
From just 11 films in 1998, Cine Europa will now present 21 European films from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Admission is free for all screenings at all locations.
Cine Europa 15 is organized by the European Union Cultural Group in Manila which gathers together the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of the European Union.
The Embassies of Norway and Switzerland, the Film Development Council of the Philippines, the Independent Film Cooperative, the Shangri-La Plaza Mall (Manila), Arts Council of Cebu and Liceo de Cagayan de Oro (Mindanao) are partners of Cine Europea 16.
