Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko ends Friday

KAPUSO Network's afternoon soap Prinsesa ng Banyera will have its final airing this Friday, January 24 and this will be replaced on Monday, January 27, by Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw.

The Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica starrer started airing last September 23, 2013. With LJ Reyes and Renz Fernandez as the antagonists (but Renz isn't bad, actually), the unfolding of the story has been exciting and really got me glued on TV every afternoon.

In Davao, it's shown right before Testigo while in the national channel, it's right before 24 Oras. It's good that our cable provider gives us options on what to watch -- the local channel or the national one.

But after watching it in the local channel, I still catch it up via the national channel because at times, I arrive home late.

Last Monday's episode was just fun because finally Princess (Kris) already told Nick (Aljur) that the one who got Kate (LJ) pregnant was not him but Steve, his bestfriend. This particular scene happened inside the church where Nick and Kate must have gotten married.

It was so kilig when Nick kissed the forehead of Princess! I just find it so romantic when a man kisses her lady on the forehead. It somehow tells me that the love that he has for her has respect in it.

I'd surely not miss the last episode, though, I already have a picture in my head on what’s the ending would be!

The show replacing Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko, hopefully, will be at par with it. Looking at the casting line up of Pangarap Ko'y Ikaw,, I believe that it will be a good show to patronize as well.

Kim Rodriguez, Kristofer Martin, Joyce Ching, and Phytos Ramirez topbill the new afternoon series.

The other stars who will make the show worth watching are Pilita Corrales, Lito Legaspi, Gabby Eigenmann, Lara Melissa de Leon, Jessa Zaragosa, Lauren Young, Joey Marquez, Gary Estrada, Janno Gibbs, G. Toengi, and Alicia Mayer.

I presume the story of this new soap will still revolve around love. Anyhow, I'm hoping that it has something new to offer and it would not just be your usual love story. That's what we are going to find as its plot unfolds starting on Monday.
