IN THE BLOOD
Ava (one-time mixed martial artist Gina Carano, Fast & Furious 6 fame), a skilled fighter with a troubling past, goes on a Caribbean vacation with her newlywed husband Derek (Cam Gigandet, Twilight series). Enticed to try a zipline, the couple is having a blast until Derek's harness snaps and plunges him into the jungle below. Whisked off in an ambulance, Ava is told to follow Derek and the paramedics and meet them at a nearby hospital. However, Derek never makes it to the hospital and Ava is plunged into a strange world as she desperately searches for her husband.
COPIII: THE FIRST ENTRY
The story is of Romanian descent that dates back to the 1500s. It was used by parents as a way to keep children from sneaking out or acting up.
There once was a woman named AlinaPatkavior, the daughter of the village witch. On her deathbed, the witch gave Alina an amulet and a hex: "By the Belly of the Snake, May those that mean to harm me be put to death."
One day a group of bandits raped her and left her in the woods to die. Alina awoke took the amulet and said the words summoning the demon Din Burta de Sarpe. The demon destroyed the men that attacked Alina in exchange for the child that the bandits had left in her womb. When the time came for the Demon to claim it, she could not give him up breaking her promise. The Demon then cursed the Patkaviors who would be infertile forever.
22 JUMP STREET
A sequel to the 2012 hit movie, 22 Jump Street is currently the number one weekend movie in America.
After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill, The Wolf of Wall Street) and Jenko (Channing Tatum, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship.
The film tells three inter-connected love stories that take place in Paris, New York and Rome.
Paris: Michael (Liam Neeson, Taken), a writer who recently left his wife Theresa (Kim Basinger, Grudge Match), receives a visit from his lover Anna (Olivia Wilde, Cowboys & Aliens). The story explores their very complicated on/off relationship due to her inability to commit because of a terrible secret.
New York: Julia (Mila Kunis, Ted) has recently been charged with attempting to kill her son, a charge which she firmly denies. As a result of these charges, her son is now in the custody of his father Rick (James Franco, Spider-Man) who is trying everything in his power to take the boy away from her. Julia is trying at all costs to regain custody of her son.
Rome: Sean (Adrien Brody, King Kong), an American business man on a trip to Italy, falls in love with an Italian woman, Monica (Moran Atias, The Next Three Days). Sean is inevitably drawn into a plot where he tries to free Monica's daughter who has been kidnapped by an Italian gangster and is being held for ransom. Emotions run high as the viewer and Sean question whether this is a set up or not.
THE RAID 2
He thought it was over. After fighting his way out of a building filled with gangsters and madmen - a fight that left the bodies of police and gangsters alike piled in the halls - rookie Jakarta cop Rama (Indonesia's popular martial artist IkoUwais) thought it was done and he could resume a normal life. He couldn't have been more wrong. Formidable though they may have been, Rama's opponents in that fateful building were nothing more than small fish swimming in a pond much larger than he ever dreamed possible. And his triumph over the small fry has attracted the attention of the predators farther up the food chain.
ANG BAGONG DUGO
JoemBascon is the new blood in this action-packed film that hopes to bring back the interest of moviergoers in Filipino action films.
AngBagongDugo follow young man named Anong (JoemBascon) who yearns to seek revenge on the unjustly murder case of his father. In his search, blood will shed and truth shall be revealed.
