KAPUSO actor Rafael Rosell is now enjoying a rosy lovelife courtesy of his new girlfriend, a Filipina-Ukranian model.

After four years of being single, the 31-year-old hunk had finally decided to pursue someone and win her heart. Fortunately, in barely four months of continuous communication and courting, Rafael was successful in snatching the heart of the lovely model, Olivia Medina, who used to be the face of Hanna shampoo, when its ad was first shown in the country.

So, how did she meet her dream girl?

In an interview with the Davao entertainment press last August 15 at Let's Crab Eat Restaurant before his 7:00 p.m. show at NCCC Mall of Davao, Rafael shared that their relationship started through an Instagram post of Olivia, which read: My prince is not coming on a white horse but on a turtle, that's why it takes so long before we're together. Being a fan of philosophical and revolutionary quotes, Rafael got so much interested in her to the point of asking his friends how to get to her.

"I just love philosophical and revolutionary quotes because they give a deeper meaning of life," he said.

Despite his publicized romance with the model, Rafael maintains that he wants still a quiet relationship.

"Gusto ko na kapag may karelasyon ako ay kami lang at walang ibang taong nakikialam. Kaya wala pa talaga akong nakakarelasyong taga-showbiz," he said.

New soap opera

Rafael is set to star with Jennylyn Mercado and Camille Prats in a primetime series called "Second Chances" which is expected to air soon (though there has been no date specified yet).

His new show will be a drama-thriller series wherein he plays a lover of Jennylyn. And it will be under the direction of Laurice Guillen. Thus, Rafael said, viewers can definitely expect a good show from them.

New movie

Rafael was ecstatic to share with the Davao press some details of his upcoming movie with Rayver Cruz and Kylie Padilla. He said that the plot of the movie, which is a scary-slasher type of film, is one reason that gives him the excitement, apart from his role as one of the suspects.

The Regal Films' horror flick "Dilim" features both Rayver and Kylie as detectives who are trying to solve a spate of horrifying encounters inside a haunted dorm along University Belt.

This is directed by Jose Javier Reyes. So watch out for its opening in theaters nationwide.

Leading ladies

With his new soap and new movie, who are the other leading ladies whom he wants to be within his upcoming projects, then?

Rafael was quick to cite fellow Kapuso stars Solenn Heusaff, Isabelle Daza, Rhian Ramos, and Kris Bernal.

Catch Rafael Rosell perform every Sunday on GMA's afternoon variety show, Sunday All Stars.
