Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

DABAWENYOS rejoice! You will have the chance to watch the much-awaited
sequel of Marvel Studios' hit ahead of others in the country.

SM Cinema, after the success of the Beauty and the Beast's premiere screening in March, will once again bring another Disney production, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, for an advance screening on April 21 on Imax 3D at SM Lanang Premier.

Apparently, SM Cinema is standing true to its commitment to provide quality entertainment among Dabawenyos by strengthening its partnership with Disney.

So, expect for more premiere showings of Disney-produced movies in the future.

"Guardians" fans, who have watched the first installment of the movie in 2014 and have waited for this sequel, are getting excited considering the fact that they can watch this action, adventure and sci-fi movie two weeks before its scheduled global screening on May 5.

Without a doubt, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is among the most anticipated movies of 2017. It was announced by Marvel before the opening of the first installment that its sequel will be released this year.

"Guardians" did not only receive excellent reviews in 2014, but turned out to be Marvel's one of box office successes. The movie became a smash hit when shown that year.

So far, not much has been said about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 going to its regular screening in May. Marvel Studios has been very good at keeping details about developments in their film projects.

But based on the film's summary published online, the film is set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos.

The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Written and directed by James Gunn, the film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot (voice), Sylvester Stallone, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Nathan Fillion, Simon Williams, Kurt Russell as Ego, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice), Pom Klementieff as Mantis, among others.
