TENSED but excited. That's how the 18-year-old Kim Rodriguez, known before as Kim Komatso, feels on her first- ever lead role in "Kakambal ni Eliana," a new afternoon series of GMA-7 that will start airing soon.
The pretty actress is just one of the few Kapuso stars who trooped here in the city to give color and hype to the 76th Araw ng Dabaw celebration.
In a chit-chat with the young actress, she admitted that she was clueless at first that she will be given this kind of break.

THE sprawling campus of University of the Philippines in Los Banos plated host to Cinema Rehiyon 5, an annual film festival showcasing selected films plucked from different regions of the country. The festival is a flagship program of the Cinema Committee of the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
Being the festival director of the Mindanao Film Festival, which is an NCCA affiliate film festival, gave me a chance to attend Cinema Rehiyon as a delegate.
