WHEN Farrah Faye Dizon established the Me & Luc store together with her husband John Christian in January this year, her motive was to bring happiness to every home by providing quality and affordable home furnishing products to customers.
Me & Luc, as Dizon's business along MacArthur Highway in Matina is called, is a reseller of products from IKEA, a Swedish company known for its well-designed and functional home furnishing materials.
IKEA has more than 300 stores in 35 countries, covering Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia Pacific. IKEA products are also health and environment friendly as the company doesn't use chemicals and substances that are harmful.
At Me & Luc, they offer home solutions for the contemporary homeowners with well-designed and functional home furnishing products. The firm's vision is to introduce to the public home furnishing goods that are practical and modern in design, products that will help one save space.
Me & Luc's products include, kitchenware, bathroom accessories, home and office furniture, home decorations, baby accessories and developmental toys.
Me & Luc's customer base reaches other parts of Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon and Dizon swears that they have been getting positive feedbacks from clients since they put up the business seven months ago.
The 31-year-old Dizon said their customers outside of Davao City include those form Manila, Naga, Quezon City, Batangas and Palawan.
Dizon said when they deliver the products to their customers there are those who will request them to assemble these materials for them. Others assemble their delivered products on their own and get satisfaction by getting bonding time with family members through this.
"It's not just about making profit. It's building relationship," Dizon said. "Their happiness is our happiness."
Me & Luc is a depot not only for adults but children alike. The business has a wide range of products from infancy to teens and are suite for their height and requirements. Dizon said Me & Luc stands for the names of her three children--Miko, Enzo and Luc.
Me & Luc is also an advocate of early learning and development. The store markets toys that are scientifically proven to develop fine motor skills and balance, logical thinking and hand and eye coordination.
Dizon beams with pride enumerating the products they are offering and confessed she and her husband get fulfillment every time they get positive feedbacks from customers. After all, they also want to bring happiness to every home.
