Garden wedding for Julian and Gel

TATA Benito's Coffee Shop owner Gladys Lalaine "Gel" G. Marcial tied the knot with businessman Julian Severino R. Aquino in a solemn garden wedding at the Waterfront Insular Hotel on May 11. It was a civil wedding officiated by Judge Rufino S. Ferraris Jr.
Principal sponsors included Gines G. Limjuco, Armin G. Nepomuceno, Dr. Puchi E. de Jesus, Atty. Gilbert G. Abellera, Abdulah C. Aquino, Nemesio E. Rodriguez, Jose M. P. Marfori, Dr. Nelson C. Villano, Dr. Ma. Imelda Zuniga-Locsin, Aillen F. Andrion, Cherry M. Cruz, Erlinda Pilar Y. Garcia, Atty. Rose Marie T. Cabaguio, Asuncion Jereza-Samonte, Rosalinda Uy-Lima, and Linda Mediatrix T. Aquino Gel’s maternal aunt, Dr. Lucilyn V. Gilles was the bride?s maid of honor while Eugene T. Chavez was Julian's best man.
Other guests in the wedding entourage were Edgardo V. Gilles (Bible bearer), Jo-Ann Diaz-Gilles (veil), Pierre Pauline R. Mirabueno and Juan Paolo N. Yrastorza (Cord), Miguel Efren R. Aquino (Sand), Leonor Amadea T. Aquino (Candle). Flower girls were Annika Louise D. Gilles, Angela Michelle D. Gilles and Aalyssa vLianne A. Razonable.
The groom's parents, Rodolfo C. Aquino and Esmeralda R. Aquino walked him to the altar while Gel's maternal grandparents, Gregorio Sr. and Lydia Gilles walked her down the aisle.
Pedritos sang during the wedding and reception where Otek Durante acted as the master of ceremony.
Rodel made the gown of Gel and her some of her entourage. The bride's fresh and radiant look was made possible by Joveth Pichon.

It was a dream wedding for the couple as Gel personally supervised the preparations including the wedding giveaways. Julian and Gel met in a Masters in Business Administration class at the Ateneo de Davao University in 2006. They quickly developed a romance that has turned into a most promising and beautiful relationship.
The couple again received God's blessing as husband wife in church rites on May 12 at the Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan in Matina, Davao City.
