EVERYBODY can now feel the heat of the day rising almost to a scorching level and the sun’s glare so blinding during midday. That reminds us it is summer season at last!
While it’s vacation, a lot of people from mainland Davao City and its neighboring cities will troop to Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) to take this as an opportunity to enjoy the company of family and friends in different ways.
For people who travel a fair bit will hit the road up to the mountainous terrain of Igacos while others either trudge up to the sites where its hidden waterfalls are flowing free or take a refreshing dip in its clear sea water.
For those who are yet to decide what activity to take on in their next visit to Samal Island, there are resorts abound in Igacos that offer a slew of activities from snorkeling, scuba diving, island hopping, kayaking, to name a few. Some resorts even have nightly parties with bands to entertain the guests to hype up the summer fun.
Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort, one of the primary resorts in Igacos, provides additional option in the long-list of choices for both domestic and foreign tourists. Starting tomorrow, March 23, the resort will light up the night sky with incredible fireworks display. What a great way to enjoy the summer season, indeed!
The activity, dubbed as “Paradise Summer Fireworks Festival,” will feature a different kind of visual entertainment for the guests for all Saturdays of summer (except on March 30, Black Saturday) at 9:30 p.m.
While waiting for the fireworks display, guests can also enjoy a sinful feast in a dinner show from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. To add more the fun, a summer edition of their carnival show is also there to entertain guests.
