A solemn wedding

-A A +A

WHY should wedding be very special? Simply because an occasion like this will forever hold a special place in our memory banks.

But a wedding, special that it is, does not always have to be expensive just to make it extraordinary. What will make up for a wedding that is truly remarkable is when everyone takes part in the ceremony in binding two hearts.

When one finds his/her perfect match, it all ends up at the church.
But, hold your horses! There's always the road to Holy Matrimony that must be taken first before that dream wedding comes.

True, couples have to go through different stages... and the trickiest part of all? Wedding preparation that is.

It is not that easy to plan out a wedding. The two will still have to look for the wedding consultants, where to hold the wedding and the reception, and who the invitees will be.

In Davao City, there are so many options given to the couples should they want a solemn wedding.

For couples who wish to hold a garden wedding, Eden Nature Park & Resort can be a good option. All the guests can be awed by the panoramic view of the venue while immersing themselves to the solemnity of the wedding near the lush greeneries.

There, couples are left with four options where to hold the wedding, it can be at the St. Michael's Chapel (P10,000), Vista Restaurant or Holiday Terraces (P10,000), Garden Hall (P10,000), amphitheatre or Gazebo (P12,000).

Food offerings also come in packages, ranging from the most affordable P685 to the priciest but the grandest food selections at P1,285 for every person. All the guests can already enjoy the fresh vegetable salad handpicked from Eden's garden, plus other foods from the wide selection of choices.

Another venue somewhere south is the Jack's Ridge Resort and Restaurant, which also offers almost the same kind of scenic view as Eden's, although a view on a busy metropolis from up there.

Wedding reception packages offered at the Jack's Ridge range from P47,000 to P53,000 per guest.

Couples who are planning out a wedding, Jack's Ridge is a good option, too, since it does not only fulfill every woman's dream wedding, but also it will leave a remarkable experience for guests that one day they will reminisce the wedding held in a solemn, picturesque venue, which all of them will bring in their lifetime.

The wedding is not the ending of a well-lived romance of a man and a woman as boyfriend and girlfriend back from their teenage years to adulthood.

The real challenge is awaiting the days, years, and decades after that.

A blissful marriage, as they say, is a package deal between husband and wife, both of them should go extra mile as well as patience.

A loving woman must not only serve her responsibilities right, but also she must understand and accept her man every time he falters, who in turn, should stand as a firm man that he is to keep the family going.

Those are just few things that the couple should take into consideration before finally deciding whether it's time to tie the knot, or better not.

Married life is full of drudgeries, which may come into play at any given time. Also, these and the pressures of daily grind may come in between marriage. As to how the couple sees each problem may either build or pull the relationship down to its pitfall.

However, constant open communication is key to every successful marriage. Without it, every action taken may only scratch to the most despairing of situations.
