Kinda sorta hide and seek-A A +A

BEFRORE we all learned how to play on computers, one of the earliest games we ever played was Hide and Seek. It was simple, but in our earliest years it was one of the most fun games we ever played.
It hasn't scaled well with how our lives have changed, however. You'd be surprised to see anyone in their early 20s trying to play hide and seek nowadays. With Prop Hunt in Garry's Mod, however, you can relive the glory of being the best at hiding in the server.
The gameplay is just like hide and seek, with a little twist since it's part of a video game.
Teams are split into two, the hunters and the props. The hunters' role is self explanatory, while the props will require some explanation.
At the beginning of the round, the hunters are "blindfolded" and won't be able to see or move. The props, however, will spawn as normal people and will have to find an object to replicate and hide as while the hunters try to find them and kill them. Thus the name, "Prop Hunt."
Most of the laughs during the game will come from the Props, who will desperately be trying to find a good object to replicate and find a good hiding spot to settle at. The Props can become a large variety of things, such as axes, bottles, ladders or even a large cabinet.
You might be thinking how easy it would be for Hunters to just go around and whack everything in hopes of hitting a hidden prop. This is answered by Hunters losing health for hitting any object that isn't a part of the Prop team, thus randomly shooting any object a Hunter finds could result in them killing themselves.
You also might be thinking about members of the Props team replicating really small objects like bottles and squeezing themselves into spots inaccessible by the Hunters. This is also countered by server Administrators pointing out "illegal" spots which can render the game unwinnable by the Hunter team, and may choose to penalize players who do not play by the rules. Props are also required to "taunt" at certain time intervals, which will play a sound that will help the Hunters locate their hiding spots.
A round ends when either the Hunters destroy all Props or at least one Prop survives the duration of the round. Games can get hilarious with Hunters frantically searching for well hidden Props or a Prop assuming the identity of a bottle, running around the map trying to escape a Hunter coming after them.
Garry's Mod uses mostly Counter Strike: Source's maps and content to run Prop Hunt, so if you don't have them, you may have a difficulty seeing the game properly.
Prop Hunt is a game mode of Garry's Mod, which costs $9.99 on Steam and doesn't require extremely powerful specs to run.
