Petri Hautakorpi, Finland Sawo sales manager for the Philippines, said they currently have three factories, one in Finland and two in Cebu Philippines employing some 300 employees.

He said their sauna rooms can differentiate itself in the market because of the traditional Finnish techniques they employ to construct them.

"The air circulation in our sauna rooms is also what makes it a quality product. The heater in our sauna is placed in the lower levels which allow the heat to go up and circulate back down, heating the room and providing the whole room the same temperature," Hautakorpi said.

Their sauna rooms are constructed using three wood types: cedar, which is imported from Canada, and spruce and aspen which are imported from Finland.

Sauna rooms are available in three design models: Wave, Piano, and Classic.

The benches of the Wave models follow the natural form of a wave making the user feel more comfortable when sitting.

The design, which offers a relaxing view, is inspired by the lakes in Finland.

For those who are looking for a modern design, one can choose the Piano sauna rooms which have narrow cut bench timber that gives contrast to light and wall panels.

If none of the standard layouts suits your style, Sawo also allows customized sauna rooms according to their specific layout and wishes. Customers may combine different woods, heaters, and sauna accessories that will suit their sense of style, aesthetic, and needs.

Hautakorpi said recently they made a customized sauna room for a client in Switzerland that can accommodate 50 people, It is also the biggest they have produced.

If you do not have space inside your homes, the company also has outdoor sauna rooms.

Hautakorpi said it would usually take two to three days to construct the sauna rooms. The installation of the sauna will only take around three hours.

"The sauna rooms are modular, meaning to say they are manufactured for assembly, be it an outdoor or indoor sauna," he said.

Sauna heaters, heater controls, steam generators, steam controls, steam accessories, sauna accessories, and sauna parts are also among their product offerings.
