Sun Life offers incentive promo

SUN Life Asset Management Company Inc. (SLAMCI) is offering a new investors’ incentive promo this year.

Aimed at encouraging investors to invest, SLAMCI president Valerie N. Pama, during a press briefing at Bistro Rosario on Thursday, said the incentive program will be a good for two-stay vacation or offshore travel in 14 cities in the Philippines and around the world.

There are eight tiers in the incentive program. The locations in the Philippines include Manila, Palawan, Boracay, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo. International destinations include Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sydney.

"The airfare and accommodation are covered in most of the destinations in the incentive program," she said.

Only Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo do not include airfare.

To join the promo, new and subsequent mutual fund investments should be under Sales Load Option B (back-end sales load option) in any of the six Sun Life Property Funds: government security fund, bond fund, balanced fund, Philippine equity fund, Dollar advantage fund, Dollar abundance fund, and new prosperity funds but investments in the Money Market Fund are not included in the promo; minimum one-time investment to qualify is P1 million for the peso-denominated funds or $20,000 for the US dollar-denominated funds; accumulation of investments to avail of higher tiers is allowed; investments under Sales Load Option B will be invested with no sales loads deducted upfront but will be locked in for five years; and investments may be paid via deposit in designated bank accounts, cash, money transfers or cheques.

The promo runs from January 2, 2014 to December 24, 2014.

Aside from the Invest and Travel incentive promo, previous investments promo that have been offered are Invest and Play, Invest and Fly, and Invest and Style.

"The promo is aimed at encouraging our clients to invest for the long term," Pama said.
