First Upsilon Cup kicks off Nov. 28

THE 1st Upsilon Cup will kick off on November 28 at the University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao and Mintal Elementary School fields.

Davao Football Association (DFA) general secretary Erwin Protacio bared this in an e-mailed statement to Sun.Star Davao on Tuesday.

"This will be a 7-A-Side one-day festival for high school students only. A team shall be composed of 10 players. Games will start immediately after a short opening program," Protacio said.

He said the tournament, which is free of registration, is organized by the UP Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Association in cooperation with DFA and UP Mindanao.

He said the deadline of confirmation and submission of entry forms is set at 5 p.m. on November 25 at the DFA clubhouse or Human Kinetics Center of UP Mindanao.
