THE Hooligans Football Club (FC) crushed Team Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa), 5-0, in the first division opener of the Davao Football Association (DFA) Games 2010 at the Tionko grounds over the weekend.
Slyvestre Zarco and Eric Se¤as scored two goals apiece to lead scoring for the team. Zarco knocked in goals in the 40th and 55th minutes while Se¤as scored in the 44th and 77th. Danny Boy Fernandez pitched in a goal in the 75th.
The Medvil FC, Columbia, KMMPC and Seagull/Porky's Lechon teams have yet to see action in the meet that will resume on Sunday.
Seagull/Porky's Lechon will battle Hooligans at 2 p.m. while Team Davraa will try to bounce back from its first game loss when it collides with Medvil at 3 p.m. The main 4 p.m. match will feature Columbia against KMMPC.
Second division matches, meanwhile, will also kick off on Sunday with Ateneo facing Holy Child, Columbia clashing against Rajawali and Waterworld meeting Club 34 in Group A.
Playing in Group B are Panabo against Lumad, AFC against Davao City National High School and Team International against Philippine National Police (PNP) Region 11.
