Kadayawan tablenet fires off August 28

THE Kadayawan Table Tennis Tournament is set on August 28 and 29 at the NCCC Mall activity center.

Friendee Nuñez of the Metro Davao Table Tennis Association (Medatta) said the two-day tournament features the men's team, women's singles, boys and girls 14 years old and under.

"National players are expected to compete, thus, raising the level of competition," Nuñez said.

He said teams and players will be grouped into brackets in every category and will play the round robin format. He said the No. 1 in each bracket will advance to the next round.

Cash prizes and trophies await the winners of the meet presented by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office. (MLSA)
