Summer festival of sports, dance

HOLIDAY Gym and Spa, the premier health and wellness center in Davao City, presents its Summer Festival of sports, dance and martial arts clinics and classes.

Kids will surely get ready to rumble this summer with HGS the boxing clinic under instructor Benjie Lumactad. The classes are open to all ages from six to 12 years old from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Get into sports with the Basketball Summer clinic under coach Arvin Bonleon for ages 7-13 years old from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Learn the moves with the Hip-Hop Summer Clinic under Bryan Grandeza of Groove Unlimited. For boys ages eight to 14 years old, classes start at 10:10 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

For girls ages eight to 14 years old, classes begin at 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. For adults 15 years and above, classes are at 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Meanwhile, the Summer Swimming Clinic offers Basic and Advance Swimming Courses.

Basic Swimming Course is from Mondays to Fridays. For kids, classes are as follows: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For adults, classes are as follows: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Advance Swimming Course for kids is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and for adults from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Learn to flow and glide with grace with the Summer Ballet with 24 classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class schedules are as follows: 11:15 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. for grades 2 and 3 old and new students ages eight to 11 years old; 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. for grades 4 and up old and new students ages 12 years old and up; 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. pre-primary to grade one old and new students ages 3 to 7 years old.

On Saturdays, classes start at 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for grades 2 and 3, old and new students eight to 11 years old; 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. for grades 4 and up, old and new students ages 12 years old and up; 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. pre-primary to grade one, old and new students ages 3 to 7 years old.

The Juijitsu Summer Clinic is set every Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
