ALREADY famous among locals and tourists alike for its crystal clear waters, the Island Garden City of Samal now boasts another amazing "body of water" in its first-ever river pool with infinity edge, an amenity found in the newly blessed and launched Aqua Park of Playa Azalea.

Hailed as the premier ocean resort community of Samal Island, Davao del Norte, Playa Azalea is a joint undertaking of leisure and lifestyle developer Landco Pacific Corporation and the proudly Mindanaoan Anflocor Management and Investment Corporation.

Playa Azalea homeowners and guests arrived by boat to an all-out party atmosphere, complete with jugglers and court jesters, drum beaters, and a variety of snacks such as nachos, chicharon, ice cream, fruit shakes and activities like face painting, glitter tattoo, magic show and spa treatments.

Once the crowd settled in, top Landco and Anflocor executives joined Fr. Ralph Kroes for the official blessing of the Aqua Park. Landco Pacific Corporation president and CEO Alfred Xerez Burgos III then welcomed the guests to the affair, while Anflocor senior vice president Ricardo R. Floirendo thanked the crowd for its support.

The blessing was culminated by closing remarks and a toast led by Anflocor president Anthony Alexander Valoria, after which balloons were released to the skies, then followed by a Mardi Gras parade. A sumptuous lunch buffet capped yet another reason to celebrate for organizers behind this impressive and ambitious development.

Following in the heels of Landco Pacific Corporation's initial Playa projects-Playa Calatagan in Calatagan, Batangas and Playa Laiya in San Juan, Batangas-Playa Azalea is Samal Island's first world-class master-planned island resort community, a sweeping estate of upscale commercial and residential spaces. Those lucky enough to call this tasteful, Asian tropical-themed place home, experience the height of luxurious resort living in an exclusive property that includes a 400-meter stretch of white sand beach. Generous lot areas, proximity to the sea, and a private beach club with a river pool, infinity pool with kiddie pool, wet and dry cabanas, snack bar, and a restaurant pavilion, among other amenities, are perks of Beachfront residents.

Meanwhile, Hillside homeowners have excellent views of the Davao Gulf and Davao City, plus use of the Hilltop Clubhouse, infinity pool, multipurpose hall, greenbelt park, and picnic areas to enjoy.

Indeed Playa Azalea is the perfect place to relax, unwind and spend quality time with loved ones, while enjoying views of the sea, Mt. Apo and Davao City. Residents also enjoy utmost privacy, exclusivity, and security as well as high-end resort amenities.

According to Alfred Xerez-Burgos III, Landco President and CEO, "Playa Azalea is just a few minutes from Davao City, close enough to be a primary home and weekend escape, allowing residents to experience leisure living every day."

Given its glorious beaches and naturally lush landscapes, Samal Island proved the perfect setting for Landco Pacific Corporation to indulge investors in its "Life at your Leisure" brand promise.
