The Veil: A bellydance workshop

GINAJANE Grey is the directress, head teacher and choreographer of the Ginajane Grey Dance and Art Center (GJDAC) at Manila Polo Club, Makati City.

MetroLifestyle Fitness Center & Spa fitness members, regular clienteles and bellydancing newbies had the privilege of learning from Ginajane herself in "The Veil: A Bellydance Workshop" last May 13-15.

Davao ladies have followed suit in the belly dance discipline, while Nash Villa, a former MetroLifestyle Group Fitness instructor, took Ginajane as mentor and is now the only GJDAC instructor in Davao.

A workshop on two levels, "The Veil" has Level 1 for beginners and Level 2 for advance. The participants were taught to practice the Pop-Oriental and Saidi-inspired (Egypt) choreographies to prepare for a recital event this year where Ginajane and GJDAC members will fly in for an exciting performance.

GJDAC dancers from Manila, CDO and Davao will get to showcase their skills together with bellydancing gurus from Egypt.

Classes are offered every MWF from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
