When girls ruled the world

IT WAS one hot Thursday that even torrential rains could not cool down. All roads were leading to the World Trade Center in Pasay City, where for one night every year girls can let their hair down and just let loose as boys give in to their whims and fantasies.

Seeing Jake Cuenca, Rocco Nacino, Enrique Gil, Anton del Rosario, Fabio Ide, Daniel Matsunaga, and a 63 other men strut in their skivvies and do sexy dances on stage is like a dream come true for a lot of girls.

And yes, that dream came true last September 15 during the highly anticipated Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2011.

The theme for the night was nautical and so everyone came in their best nautical outfits that were fit for places like the Manila Yacht Club to the luxurious Cote d'Azur.

The show gave life to every fantasy that you can think of in such scenario. Gorgeous hot men in Speedos, to men taking a shower, a group of sailors, and a gang of Brazilian men having fun on stage with their crazy dance moves!

And for one night, the Philippines was in a parallel universe, at least that’s how it felt inside the World Trade Center, as girls were not the sexual objects in the show, it was the guys, and no one cringed when condoms were given out. Yes, it was the girls who called the shots that night and the boys just had to obey when the crowd chants “take it off”. And take it off, they did.

It may have just been that, a show, but for one night, it was definitely the girls who ruled the World Trade Center.
