A Starry Starry Night

IT WAS a night of pressure.
Well, indeed for someone like me who swore to death that she would never ever wear a cocktail dress. It felt like that the powers of the avenging world conspired to finally bring doomsday for some "jologs" hoteliers who never wished to sport cocktail dresses and tuxedos for a predictably-unpredictable night of faction.

The Grand Regal Hotel Davao celebrated A Starry Starry Night last January 6, the management's post Christmas and New Year's celebration to collectively commemorate the past hard knocked-productive-outlived year and to openly welcome a more challenging-forceful-changing year.
The celebration was deemed a triple ensemble as it featured promenade-inspired ambiance that employees of any age could hold dear to their memories. Each became self-acclaimed stars, illuminating a constellation who honored and who shared the same right to take part on the effervescent yet gallant event.
Plans for greater business and system developments had been briefly covered by the general manager himself, Ildefonso Bontia Jr. , as he delivered the opening remarks of the ceremony.
"Sige lang, pagtrabahuan natin 'to, sa atin din naman 'to babalik," his most inspiring thought to remember that night.
The Toast of the Night then was spearheaded by the hotel events coordinator Oliver I. Golosino, to officially spread the joy of felicitation followed directly by the dating game arranged and planned by the organizers.
A sumptuous dinner buffet for all was prepared by in-house Chefs accompanied with serenades by a live band and as well as employees' performances.
To continually amuse all party-goers, a Cotilion De Honour was presented to revive sweet intangible moments of a prom night. And to top it, the executives jived to Chubby Checker's Let's Twist Again.
Thought of celebrating Christmas, New Year, and Promenade in one place at one time? We just did at Grand Regal Hotel Davao. In fact, we nailed it.
