Gerry's Grill: 15 years and still counting

GERRY'S Grill recently celebrated its 15th year anniversary. From its first branch in Tomas Morato, it now has 47 branches nationwide, two branches in California, two in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands Singapore and Cuppage Road, and soon in Doha, Qatar.

The past 15 years in the food industry were filled with a lot of interesting challenges. The Filipino market had indeed evolved and still continues to evolve. The market shifted so many times mostly due to the emerging trends in the food business.

For Gerry Apolinario, with the many aspects in life, great things may come from certain passions, big or small.

Gerry had a particular fondness for good food -- a passion he shared with his family and friends.

He longed for a venue where quality food, grilled dishes and cold drinks may be enjoyed in an atmosphere that was fun, fresh and wholesome. Thus, after rounding up family and friends for a particular business venture, Gerry's Grill was born on February 14, 1997 located at Tomas Morato corner Eugenio Lopez Avenue, Quezon City.

Boasting of a menu packed with scrumptious food ranging from grilled seafood, Filipino and Asian favorites and tastefully prepared beer mates and pica-pica, guests enjoy the food immensely along with their favorite beverages from non- alcoholic to brews as well as cocktails.

The combination was more than perfect for a typical get together. The place is so inviting and so un-intimidating as it attracts the dining and family crowd. Gourmets and gourmands come with families, groups of friends and colleagues. Some even go solo for a relaxing time at the bar.

With good food and popular drinks, accommodating service, affordable prices, and the extensive collection of music, Gerry's Grill spells the equation for steady success and expansions in the restaurant business.

Still, the boundaries seem far and wide for Gerry's Grill as we have conquered different gimmick hotspots not only in the Philippines but also in the United States, Singapore and soon in Qatar.

In Davao City, Gerry's Grill opened its second branch at the Abreeza Mall.

It's first branch is at the Gaisano Mall of Davao.
